What, when and where is Fabric Arts Festival 2019?
FABRIC Arts Festival is a four-day event taking place between September 25 through 28 2019, in Fall River, Massachusetts, USA. The festival is preceded by a residential working period for the development of the artistic projects, which are to be premiered and shown during these days.
Geographically, the program will be centered in downtown Fall River, creating a hub for its events around Purchase St., while local, national and international music performances will take place in nearby venues. The venues of the festival will be PAL- Fall River, The Narrows Arts Center, The Eagle Event Center, People Incorporated, The Carousel at the Battleship Cove and a central stage at Purchase Street.
How do I get to Fabric Festival 2019?
Logan International Airport in Boston and T.F. Green Airport in Warwick (Rhode Island) are the airports serving the area.
Interstate 195 runs east-west through Fall River between Providence, Rhode Island and Cape Cod, Massachusetts. State Route 24 runs north toward Boston, Massachusetts and south towards Newport, Rhode Island.
The city of Fall River is most easily traversed by car. Fall River does offer transportation via bus, provided by the Southeastern Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA). There are also a few taxi companies that service residents and visitors of the city, including Town Taxi and Yellow Cab of Fall River.
Are there any free events and activities?
Yes, most of FABRIC Arts Festival is free of charge. Free activities happening in venues such as The Narrows Arts Center, P.A.L and The Eagle have limited capacity, therefore access is limited to the capacity of each venue.
When and where can I purchase tickets? How do tickets work?
The only event requiring paid tickets is the double-bill concert by Lula Pena (6 pm) and Kelsey Lu (7pm), which will take place on September 28 at P.A.L. Tickets are non-transferable and grant access to both concerts. Doors open at 5:30, there's no assigned seating. Tickets can be purchased

The entrance for
MEDEIROS/LUCAS ( friday September 27th, 9:00 pm) show is free of charge, but The Eagle has limited capacity. Therefore, spectators need to pick up their free tickets in advance. Tickets will be available for pick on the following schedules and venues. Maximum 2 tickets per person.

When is the final program and the distribution of acts per day and venues communicated?
The program will be made public on August 28. Final locations and times will be presented on September 17.
Are there any age restrictions?
Fabric Arts Festival 2019 is open to people of all ages. Tickets will be required for patrons ages 10 and older. Underaged attendees must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Are there transports available? Where do I park my car?
Yes, Fabric will have a trolley at your disposal that will be going around every 20 minutes. This transport can take you to Fabric's venues, spaces of exhibition and activities.There will also be an 18-passenger handi-accessible SRTA van stopping at the same points as below.
The trolley will be running from 2 PM to 11 PM.

Do you accept payments in credit or debit cards?
Some bars and venues, though not all, will accept credit/ debit cards. There are ATMs located throughout downtown Fall River.
Will alcohol be available at each event/ venue? Can I smoke inside?
Most events will have a bar available. Smoking is strictly forbidden in all of the Festival’s venues.
What about safety and medical needs?
If you need medical attention, please alert an event organizer, venue staff, or member of our security staff and we will assist you.
I'm a journalist and I want to cover the festival, how do I do it?
Journalists should contact the festival's communication team, indicating the outlet for which they work, a proposal to cover the festival and/ or content to be developed before, during or after the festival. Proposals should be sent to pressfabricfest@gmail.com. The number of press passes available is very is limited due to the very small capacity of the festival.
I am an artist; I have a band; I want to make a partnership proposal; I have a project that really makes sense in Fabric Arts Festival. Who do I talk to?
Fabric Arts Festival 2019's program is currently closed. Proposals should be addressed to the curatorial team and organization – fabricfestivalfallriver@gmail.com – until May 1st prior to the festival. Each proponent will have a response according to the program of the artistic direction set for each year.
